Celebrate To Donate

This was a fun event, an ice breaker to meet the community and gather donations. The event was held at 3D Cantina & Daiquiri Bar in Dallas, TX. It was a great turn out! We are so grateful for each and every person who took time from their day to come out to support this cause. All donations were given directly to the community and the remaining items to Austin Street Center.

Upcoming Enrichment Program

Creating Our Community Enrichment Program is working towards providing a six-weeks program for children ages 6-12. We will provide an academic curriculum designed to challenge the students in the subject areas of math and reading. Within this time frame, students will be exposed to the fine arts through field trips and public figures that will speak at our facility. We want to expose low-income students to the world around them providing a space for creative thought and exploration. “Seeing is believing.” We know that if we expose our youth to the unknown world around them, their possibilities for success will be infinite.

Low-income areas are in need of resources and support teams to overcome the barriers and challenges that come with the inability to afford health care, daycare and essentials such as food, lights and water. Single parents and parents that are overwhelmed in their everyday life need more of a work/life balance to ensure effective parenting and a healthier lifestyle. Creating Our Community Enrichment Program or COCEProgram provides our customers with academic security, parent and student support and healthy food options on a budget. Our organization addresses real needs in the community and provides a place to learn life skills for both the parent and child. We provide mentors that are qualified to guide students and parents towards a balanced and healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically. Our trained staff consists of teachers and mentors that will educate the students in advanced reading and math and provide tutoring for students who have difficulty in the subject.
